MABC Club Officers for 2018...
Just like every club or organizations there has to be someone in charge. So that's why you are seeing this page of club members who have a good reason to see that this club continues to prosper. Every year we elect those who volunteer and at years end they are appointed as such.
If you are a member, please give it a try..
PRESIDENT - Stacy Crawley
I joined the bicycle club in 2014, but have been cycling for about 10 years. My cycling experience has been combined with triathlon training and triathlons competitions. I started competing in triathlons consistently about 5 years ago. I completed my first Ironman in 2012. I have competed in all triathlon distances. Currently, I am focusing on training for my 12th half ironman in July.
VICE- PRESIDENT - Kristi Nichols
I am excited to be MABC VP! I started cycling in 2015 and i enjoy every minute out on the road. I like to stay physically active and especially love being outdoors. I am a little crazy , love to have fun and pretty energetic! I work at Blades Styling Salon as a full time stylist. In my free time I ride my bike, hike, travel and boat. I look forward to finding ways to help promote MABC to our community!
TREASURER - Sonia Poirier
I have worked at Arvin Sango in the finance department since 2004. I have two children Emily (22) and Grant (20) Ward.
I have been active physically most of my life. I attended the Canadian national synchronized swimming championship while in high school. I swam the backstroke at the High School State Championship in Orlando, Florida. After college, I trained for triathlon and participated in the national short course championship. I also participated in many 100 mile and 100 km bicycle rides. I participated in at least one 5 km race per year for most of the last 15 years.
I also like to kayak, hike, snow ski and scuba dive but my favorite sports activity has always been bicycle riding and this season I am enjoying tandem stoking.
SECRETARY - Ken Critchlow
I got into cycling in 2013 after many years of not biking. I retired from one of the club sponsors, IKE, in early 2015 which gave me more time to ride. I joined MABC in the spring of 2015 and greatly expanded my riding experience. My interest lies in road cycling and I enjoy sightseeing while riding and the camaraderie of riding with the group.
